Monika Tuncbilek to Represent Honduras at Mrs. World Pageant 2017

Entrepreneur to Raise Awareness for Critical Honduran Issues


SAN DIEGO, Calif., Nov. 28, 2017 – Drain Help Owner and President, Monika Tuncbilek, has announced today that she will be participating in the 2017 Mrs. World pageant as Mrs. Honduras. The coveted worldwide competition will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa this year. Mrs. Tuncbilek will be raising awareness of Honduran culture and key issues at the event to share the heart and soul of the nation with the rest of the world.

In 1984 Mrs. World became the first international pageant to feature the distinguished married woman. The competition is the sister event to Mrs. America. Thirty-six countries will be participating this year to share their unique culture, people, and talent on a global platform. Pageant president and CEO, David Marmel, will be organizing the event and deciding its structure and activities.

Mrs. Tuncbilek previously represented Mrs. Latina USA at the Mrs. Universe competition in Durban, South Africa earlier this year. The busy mother of three has spent much of 2017 promoting her Honduran independent film ¿Y Los Tamales? which premieres on November 30th, 2017. The serial entrepreneur donates her time to English education in Honduran schools throughout the year. Tuncbilek now plans to use pageantry to raise awareness of crucial Honduran issues such as poverty, staggering crime rates, and political turmoil.
